Can I hire a charter captain with your boat rentals?
No, this is a self charter only. Our boats are not licensed for charter use. They are for private use. Boating skills are required to rent our boats.
How many anglers can fish on your rental boats?
Our boats are rated for four passengers.
What kind of downriggers come outfitted on your fishing boats?
Our boats are equipped with Scotty electric downriggers.
Does my boat rental include fishing gear and tackle?
Yes, gear and tackle are included, but additional can be purchased at our tackle shop.
What happens if I lose or break any of the fishing gear or tackle?
Guests must pay for lost or broken gear or tackle that is supplied with the boat.
Does my rental boat include safety equipment?
Yes, we have life jackets and safety equipment as required by the USCG on board for your use.
Does my boat rental include my Alaska fishing license?
Alaska fishing license should be purchased online and printed ahead of your trip. We do not sell them.
Does my boat rental include fish processing?
Customers process their own fish. Fish boxes are available for purchase at our facility. For those who wish, fish processing is available for an additional fee.
Does my trip include lodging?
Pricing listed is for boat rental only. Lodging packages are available for an additional cost. Call Joel for options.
When must I return my rental boat?
Boats must be returned by 4 PM daily unless otherwise authorized by Joel.
What is the policy on fuel for the boat?
Boats come with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank of fuel.
What is the booking/payment policy?
A $500 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking. Customers must pay 50% of their reservation by January 15th. Customers must pay the remaining 50% of their reservation 60 days prior to their trip. Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to arrival will not receive a refund unless we can rebook the boat with another reservation. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to arrival will not receive a refund. Customers may receive a credit or refund for the day due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. No-shows will not receive a refund. Contact management by phone with any questions about our cancellation policy.

No, we must collect an additional sales tax for Sitka.
